A Message from Sr Mary

Just a note of love and thanks to you all, particularly those I did not manage to see personally before I left Jarrow.
As you can imagine, I am now searching for innumerable things that I seem to have lost between Jarrow and Bromley but I am sure that in time I will settle and things will reappear. I have already lived with most of the sisters down here at one time or another and they have made me very welcome. I miss the Geordie accent but am enjoying this very warm weather and having a meal cooked every day is a great gift. One day, I sense I will visit the North East again but, as you can imagine, for the moment, it’s a wait and see situation.
I hope the sun continues to shine on you and and I dearly hold you and your families (especially the sick) before the Lord in prayer. Again, grateful thanks for the joy of the past years.
God Bless
Sister Mary

A Message from Fr. Adrian

Dear everyone, I would like to say a big thank you to all the people who have shown such kindness with good wishes, cards and presents to mark the 40th anniversary since I was ordained a priest. It was lovely to see so many make the journey down to the Mass here in Billingham. It reminds me how wonderful are the people of the parishes of Jarrow. I will never forget how kind you have all been. Fr. Adrian.
